A quick drawing made with ink and markers during the summer. The poses of the dinos are loosely based upon an early maquette of two T-Rexes fighting over a dead Hadrosaur. It was meant to be mounted full-size with skeletons in New York (back in 1915 in the days of Barnum Brown and H. Osbourne, the discoverer and describer of the first T-REx), but it never got done.
...I'm trying to find words to express how cool I think this is....
And I'm failing. Miserably.
Your "quick 'n sketchy" style is just amazing in its expressiveness, and the dramatic contrast that the markers give it is nothing short of awesome. And the details in shading you're able to get with the markers is remarkable, too- I really like that left hindleg on the tyrannosaur on the right hand side of the image. That's just... wow.
....Yep. Wow.

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
